Visiting and exploring Gili Islands in one-go will need a little bit more than a week (well, unless you need more time to stay away from the crowd). With perhaps three to four days on each island (Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air), you need to find the right accommodation to stay while you are there.
Here is some information about Gili Islands accommodation:
Gili Trawangan Accommodation:
Since Gili Trawangan island is the biggest island of the three Gili Islands, it is no surprise that this island has more accommodation, including nice hotels, resorts, villas, and bungalows. Most of these places also have swimming pools and restaurants. So, if you do not want to explore the island and just want to relax, you can stay in and enjoy these facilities. Sunbathing by the pool while sipping your favorite cold drinks? Why not?
Other than that, you can also go swimming and snorkeling.
Bellow are a few of Gili Trawangan accommodation.
Gili Air Accommodation:
Gili Air is the medium-sized island among the three, so a lot of couples, families, and seasonal backpackers come here for a holiday. Since scuba diving and snorkeling are the two most favorite activities here, the accommodation is mostly close to the beach. Most divers come here to enjoy the sight of turtles in the coral reef off-shore.
This part of Gili Islands has many bungalows. Some of them have swimming pools, restaurants, and even a bar on the beach too. Since Gili Air is the only Gili that has subterranean fresh water, many restaurants, resorts, and bungalows use it in daily basis.

Gili Meno Accommodation:
It is only logical to visit Gili Meno after Gili Trawangan since it is located right in the middle between Gili Trawanganand Gili Air. It is also the smallest and quietest island, perfect for honeymooners, families, and those seeking for a Robinson-Crusoe style of holiday.
Of course, you should not expect the accommodation here to be like in Gili Trawangan. Most of the places you can find to stay in Gili Menoare mid-range bungalows. These bungalows mostly situated in the tropical gardens on the northern side of this island.
The idea of a holiday in Gili Menois to enjoy peace and solitude, so these bungalows are mostly for sleeping. Spend some time going outdoors and enjoy the scenery while you are there. It is worth the trip.
